Welcome to QBTA (Queensland Beauty Training Academy) Airbrush Make-up Training.
Qualification Title: Certificate of Completion in theory and practical components of Airbrush Makeup Application
We offer a 1 day one-on-one training, included theory and practical components. During your training week you going to do practical application on live models. You will learn about hygiene, grooming checklist, ethics, colour principles, how to create a make-up analysis design plan, face analysis, anatomy, how to maintain infection control and workplace health and safety practices (incl. waste management) on the highest level during the airbrush make-up application. Our curriculum includes introducing to airbrushing, kit review (air gun and compressor) and maintenance, preparation of the skin, application of primer, foundation, eye make-up incl. smokey eyes, blush, natural everyday make-up, evening and bridal make-up, colours and mixing techniques, sealer application and importance, corrective techniques, contraindications and aftercare instructions.
Your trainer is highly qualified, (Make-up Artist, Cosmetic tattooist, Advanced Paramedical tattooist in Areola, Scar Camouflage and Skin needling, European Nursing Qualification, and Psychology studies, Basic and Advanced level Lash be Long Artist), holds Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Airbrush Training only: $650.00
Airbrush Make-up training fee includes:
1 day one-on-one training (equipment review and maintenance, hygiene routine, everyday, evening & wedding airbrush make-up application, corrective techniques, etc.), using our training materials and equipment, (air gun, airbrush machine, pigments, etc.), your professional certificate.
Two models are required.

That costs $25/treatment.
Upon a successfully completed assessment you will be Certified Airbrush Make-up Artist by Queensland Beauty Training Academy and can start your own business even from the next day.
You will be able to get your professional liability insurance and purchase products at professional beauty suppliers. Our certificates are industry accepted.

WHAT TO BRING
Models
You can bring your friend or relative who has no contraindication to perform the application. All procedures are totally supervised by your trainer.
Camera
Please bring your camera as we going to take before and after photos of your models as part of your training sessions used in conjunction with the Client Indemnity form. (Camera should have a macro feature for close-up shots) It also going to be the start of your portfolio and we encourage you to take as many photos as you like.
LUNCHES
Our Academy is conveniently set up with a refrigerator, microwave-owen, and tableware. Also hot food shop is available just in walking distance. Coffee and tea will be provided.

1st part: Theory lesson

Introduction to airbrushing

Skin anatomy, face, eye, eyebrow & lip shapes, and correction techniques

Kit review and maintenance

All about airbrush make-up procedures with demonstration (eyebrow design, application of primer, foundation, eye make-up incl. smokey eyes, blush, sealer, glow)
2nd part: Natural everyday make-up, evening and wedding airbrush make-up application
Review of everyday airbrush make-up application steps, demonstration
On this day you are going to need 2 models.
Workplace, equipment setup, face analysis, design plan
Colour selection, mixing, eyebrow design
Evening and wedding make-up application including primer, glow and sealer
Cleaning of workplace
